GLOBAL LEADER IN DEVELOPMENT, ENGINEERING, MANUFACTURING AND TESTING OF SUBMERGED MOTOR CRYOGENIC PUMPS FOR 30 YEARS.
Nikkiso Cryo, Inc., is one of the world's foremost suppliers of submerged motor liquefied gas pumps, offering unmatched reliability, quality and safety.
As part of the Nikkiso Company global organization, our "original technologies" provide our customers with the confidence in knowing they are receiving the latest technology and the highest standards of engineering available.
Located in North Las Vegas, Nevada, in the USA, Nikkiso Cryo offers a full range of submerged pumps for LNG, LPG, LEG, LN2, liquid propylene and many other liquefied gases. With design, production and test facilities in both the USA and Japan, sales offices in Las Vegas, Houston, London and Tokyo, Nikkiso Cryo offers prompt and full support for all of our customers worldwide.
Full Range of Cryogenic Pumps
Nikkiso Cryo pumps are installed around the world and throughout the LNG chain. We offer a full range of pumps for most liquefied gases:
• Fixed in-tank pumps for use on LNG carriers.
• Suction vessel mounted pumps for process applications: liquefaction and regasification.
• Removable in-tank pumps providing ease of maintenance.
We take pride in offering pumps with high efficiency and exceptional pump-down capability (NPSHR).
Proven in the Real World
At Nikkiso Cryo, we offer a wide range of proven pump designs based on our more than 30 years of experience.
Designed to your specifications, our model-based pump engineering services include:
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis
Also, many customers find value in our engineering services at the business development phase of a project. We support your team in designing a plant from the very beginning.
Designed to Perform
All of our cryogenic pumps include unique features that Nikkiso Cryo designed to ensure they perform at their peak:
Our ZEN™ spiral inducer is directly derived from aerospace technology and minimizes the fluid left in the bottom of the tank.
With our specially designed radial diffuser, our pumps maximize efficiency and reduce our customers' electricity use.
Design features work together to minimize bearing load and extend pump life.
Dependable for Results
As a result of unique design features that control bearing loads, Nikkiso Cryo pumps have unparalleled reliability in the field. In many cases, mean time between maintenance is over 20,000 hours, with some pumps recording up to an astonishing 43,000 hours.
The terminal header used in our pumps' electrical system offers extended leak-free operation. This design was proven in the nuclear industry and has a perfect 25-year record.
Moreover, we have state-of-the-art testing facilities:
In Las Vegas, NV, we can perform witnessed tests on LN2, LNG and LPG, and our Tokyo facility can perform witnessed tests on LN2.As the leader in floating LNG, Nikkiso Cryo is the only company to complete a full-scale, seaworthy qualification test for high-pressure pumps prior to installation on regasification vessels.
The extensive instrumentation system installed at the Nikkiso Cryo Test Facility permits us to conduct computer-controlled performance and NPSH tests with live tracking of more than 200 parameters.
Quality is at the center of everything we do, with quality processes and safety checks integrated every step of the way.
We fulfill ISO 9001 requirements. Nikkiso also meets ISO 14001 requirements.
We've received approvals from many international review organizations.Nikkiso Cryo also readily complies with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) and with the environmental laws and regulations of the Nevada Revised Statutes and the Nevada Administrative Code.
